The Fitz, 10, and the Donald (cont.)

That didn’t set too well with the budding agent, who knew that the Taj was Trump’s premier location and that’s where he wanted the Fercos to perform.
Another glitch occurred when Fitz was informed that the act would be slotted for the Sunday-through-Thursday schedule, which was not what Fitz hoped for: every evening but Monday. Suffice to say that the location and the time slot issues were resolved: the Fercos open at the Taj on Friday, Sept. 12, and will be playing every evening but Monday.
Fitz, his mom and grandparents first saw the Fercos’ act last summer at the Tropicana and were sufficiently impressed by their artistry and daring – the show includes lions, tigers and leopards – to have gotten to know the brothers, Tony and Ferdinand.
The world had already gotten to know the act – the Fercos are sixth-generation Czechoslovakian-born including the prestigious Lido in Paris and New York’s Madison Square Garden. In 2002 Tony and Ferdinand won the International Magician’s Society’s Merlin Award for “Most original Magicians of the Year."

And how happy is Fitz with his deal? “I was happy, but I knew Donald would like the act and I knew I could sell him.”
And what did the master think of this 10-year-old agent?
“Fitz obviously learned a lot about business from his grandfather, Dan, who is a legend,” Trump says. “And he also learned that you don’t have to be ruthless to be a great negotiator. Each party needs to feel like he has gotten something of value in order for a negotiation to succeed. Fitz got the Fercos a great deal and we got a great act.
“He actually reminds me a little of me!”
And there can be no greater praise from The Donald.
